Monster for June '98

Angillante:

Just to show everyone an example of what to do for their monster of the month I made the first one up myself, starting July first I'll be publishing the first monster mailed into me. Read on!

Angillante was created in an alternate time by genetic biologist Dr. Shirigami. In the true 1989, Shirigami built the hideous monster Biollante, but after time was altered, so was his creation.

Now, instead of being an amalgamation of Godzilla's cells and rose cells, the creature is a hybrid of rose cells and those of a member of the newly discovered Anguilasarus dinosaurs that still live even today inside a Mexican oil well.

Her creation was sponsered by the terrorist organization Red Bamboo, but Angillante was secretely built with an added component: the human soul of Dr. Shirigami's daughter Erica. After the leader of the Red Bamboo killed Dr. Shirigami, Angillante went wild, destroying every last remnant of the organization before being destroyed in a battle with Gigan on Mt. Kilauea.

Angillante has dark purple skin with several splotches of pea green. Her flesh is bumpy and rough, yet also soft. On her back she has a carapace covered in long spikes for protection. These spikes also grow out of her forehead, muzzle, and tail. Like Biollante, this creature also has dozens of vines and tendrils growing out of her which can be regenerated and used to grapple.
