Friday, December 5th
Neve Campbell on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Jay: Ok, now SCREAM 2-now this is your second. The first one was huge, and its actually still play in a lot of places. Now, do you like horror movies? Is that a jandra you enjoy?

Neve: No, I actually can't stand them. I am one of those people who sit with a pillow in my face-and cries and screams a lot. And I have nightmares for months, so I can't watch them-but I have a lot of fun doing them. Definitely.

Jay: Now, do you believe in ghosts?

(They go on from there talking about how Neve thinks there is a ghost living in her house)

Jay: You're living SCREAM 2, you are SCREAM 2.

Neve: Yeah *laughs* pretty much.

Jay: Tell us about the new movie.

Neve: Its fun, it a lot of fun. Its as scary, if not scarier or as funny if not funnier- and I had a blast doing it.

Jay: Does it seem scary while you are doing it? Do you feel like- oooouuuuuu? Do they try and scare you?

Neve: People keep asking me that-but now you do have like 80 crew members standing around waiting to go to lunch. So, your kind of aware of the fact you're not actually going to be killed.

(They show a clip from the movie where Neve is walking through the Sorority house and the phone rings and she goes to answer it and its Ghostface.)

Jay: Well...You know it seems like all your problems could be solved with call forwarding.

Neve: I know, seriously.

Monday, December 8th
Courtney Cox on the Rosie O'Donnell Show

Rosie: Well-you got a new movie named SCREAM 2-gotta say-didn't see SCREAM 1-heard is was fabulous.

Courtney: I know-I was here last time.

Rosie: Scares me.

Courtney: I know-its really scary-I don't watch the whole movie either.

Rosie: Really?

Courtney: Men love these films, I think they are really fun and love that feeling of being scared and I love to be scared-But I can't watch.

Rosie: Yeah-I don't blame ya.

(They talk a bit about the clip they are going to show and then they go to break and come back and show the clip of SCREAM 2. Its where Gale and Joel are by the news van talking about Gale's book which Joel just read.)

Rosie: Thats SCREAM 2 with Courtney Cox. Now-were they intending on making a sequel from the get-go?

Courtney: Yeah, I think they've always thought of it as a trilogy. So there will be a third one too.

Rosie: There will?

Courtney: Yeah.

Rosie: It was a very quick turn around, wasn't it? From the first one?

Courtney: Oh god yeah. I literally did Friends-I wrapped-I did Gale Weathers, thats the character I play in SCREAM, and then I did the same thing again.

Rosie: I heard they sent the script with a big band of ink like across the middle?

Courtney: Yeah it was very secretive and crazily-not crazily probably-but very secretive. And yes, we got these scripts with like this big maroon band thats in the middle of it so you can Xerox it, but at the same time-you can't also read the dialogue. So I'd come to work and be like-"Does anybody have any pages that are white and I can read this?" And he'd [Wes] get really mad at me and I would be like-"Wes, I can't read the script. No wonder I don't know my words." But ummm-it was very private. Then I even tried to bring one to show you how literally you couldn't read this-and they've shredded all the scripts.

Rosie: Really? So the guy-now I didn't see the first one-but it is the same murder back?

Courtney: No, the murders from the first one didn't make it.

Rosie: Their dead?

Courtney: Yeah.

Rosie: Good, I like to hear that the murders are dead. Does the murder die in this? Or you can't tell?

Courtney: No, I can't tell.

Rosie: But probably.

Courtney: Well-we hope people get him.

Rosie: Yeah, yeah. Are you going to be in the third one?

Courtney: I don't know.

Rosie: Well see you can't even say that.

Courtney: I know. I don't know if I survive this one.

Rosie: I hope you do.

Courtney: Thanks

Rosie: Can you tell me during the commercial?

Courtney: yeah.

Rosie: Alright. do you see many movie during your down time?

Courtney: I don't see that many movies-I do love scary movies though. Like when I was filming SCREAM I would rent scary movies.

Rosie: like what? What'd you rent?

Courtney: I rented The Omen which like those kind of movies freak me out. If I drive home and see a big black bird in the street-I'll go another way. It really freaks me out.

Rosie: But you know what? None of those things scare me. You wanna know why?

Courtney: Why?

Rosie: Never saw those movies. Never saw them.

Courtney: Ok-well-I rented The Omen and I got so freaked out because the back of the little kids head theres 666. And the next day I went to work and the whole night I couldn't sleep, I'd start thinking of the devil and that whole thing-I didn't like it. And I got there and my hair person was blow drying my hair-and I swear to you he was going like this "makes a shocked and disgusted type face* "O-My-Gawd! Courtney-Oh-My-Gawd-- what is this??" And I literally-he had no idea I'd seen the movie-I thought, I have 666 on the back of my head. And what it was-was the hair spray on the back of my head was gobbed up when he blew dry it-and it was some sticky goop.

Rosie: You had like a knot.

Courtney: I thought for sure I was the devil that day. It scared me so bad.

Rosie: Well at least we know you are stable.

Courtney: I know.

Rosie: "I thought I was the devil."

Courtney: You don't know whats back there!

Rosie: Well listen-do me a favor and don't watch any more of those movies. You can be in them if you want-but dont watch them. They are not good for you.

(They talk about another movie)

Rosie: And SCREAM 2 is supposed to be great-it opens Friday. I'm sure if you like scary movies-people say the number 1 was the greatest.

Courtney: Yeah-this is actually scarier than the first one.

Rosie: It is?

Courtney: Yeah and its funny. I think the characters are richer and its better.

Monday, December 8th
Duane Martin on the Keenan Ivory Wayanes Show

Keenan: So congratulations on the new movie.

Duane: Thank you very much. Its about time a brotha's in a horror movie!

Keenan: Yeah, exactly! Now- what I wanna know- since you in that, you gotta give us the deal. Who gets killed.

Duane: Uhh, well-actually we signed a secrecy contract. We can't tell. The whole cast signed a deal where we can't tell who the killer or killers are.

Audience: Awwwwww.

Duane: Yo- it was top secret. It was like-I didn't get the script till I got on the plane.

Keenan: Really?

Duane: They gave me one page. so, when I took the movie, I was like alright- I'ma die in the credits.

Keenan: Yeah, thats the deal right. Thats why they didn't give you the script. As soon as you open it. *Keenan acts like he has a piece of paper in his hand* 'Duane is killed' Hey!

Duane: But naw--I saw the first one and I didn't care when I died. I was like hey man-the first one was so dope. It was like Drew Barrymore-who's this huge star-all of the sudden gets killed in the first 10 minutes. Yo-thats hard core!

Keenan: Yeah-I mean thats the kinda surprise you want.

Duane: Dude I was like-you don't see Arnold Swartzenager doin a movie and he's a cop and he's doing a routine search-BOOM BOOM BOOM *he acts like he is knocking on a door* "Mam' I understand you got a problem" *acts like he is getting killed* And he dies! It was like when she [Drew Barrymore] died-I was like--its on! And anybody could die from that point on. I was watchin' the movie and it was like *looks over his shoulders* I might get killed. You know-it was like-I gotta be a part of this project. So I didn't care if I died during the credits-whatever-when I die-I'm a die like a brotha! Thats right. We don't die easily.

Keenan: Man you know theres two ways that brothers die in movies. You got the heroic way or you got the *acts all scared* Duane: Nah-I'ma-Yo dude can stab me and I'ma just keep wakin up. Wes Craven's be like "You gotta die Duane! You gotta die in this!" "Ok, ok Wes-I'll die." Dude can slash my throat-I'd be like this *pretending he is dead and then slowly puts his hand over his throat and act like he is holding it together and sits back up* Hold my throat together! Come back in the next scene!

Monday, December 8th
Courtney Cox on David Letterman

David: And how about the SCREAM movies?

Courtney: Oh SCREAM- its great. Yeah-I don't know if you saw the first one-but this SCREAM 2 is scarier and its funnier and the characters are richer and its really really a great great movie. David: So you are saying that the second one is actually better than the first?

Courtney: I think so

David: Thats unusual. The first one is usually the coalescence of the great idea. And the second one is advestiges. (They then talk about him messing up the word) But now you play a reporter or author in SCREAM 2. What is it?

Courtney: Yeah, I play-the first one I was just a reporter-but now I'm a producer. I've wrote this book and they've made a movie and so I'm a producer. And just doing that movie is great. Wes Craven's an amazing director and the sequel-there's kinda rules of a sequel-its gotta be bloodier, more murders, the body count has to be higher-theres a whole list and we kinda covered them all.

David: And this comes from the D.O.T. Where do you get this from? But you know what I like about it? (He goes into this long speech about how he hate movies that cost a billion dollars to make and how he likes the ones which don't cost a lot but make a ton of money, Then after he shuts up they show a clip from the movie where they are sitting on that bench round the tree talking about the murders right before Randy gets killed.)

David: Hang onto your hats kids!
