All of this hard work paid off and on April 10, 1999, the Lynchburg College colony became the Zeta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha as it was installed and presented with its charter.

| The Lynchburg College community welcomed a new sorority to its campus on October 22, 1998, as a colony of Alpha Sigma Alpha was established. These women participated in the Phoenix Degree, becoming the founding sisters of this new colony. They worked hard during recruitment weeks to gain new members and were involved in many Greek wide and campus service and social events. All of this hard work paid off and on April 10, 1999, the Lynchburg College colony became the Zeta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha as it was installed and presented with its charter. |
