WHAT WAS HIS PURPOSE?
A few hours had passed, Musashi was up and walking, still topless, pacing around, and Fukushima sat at the humble table in the corner of the cottage, wondering why on earth they would come to a cottage after all this effort to escape. No way would Musashi waste his time saving the life of someone without a purpose for living. So what was Fukushima’s purpose? His mind boggled. "Why did you bring me here?" Musashi did not answer. "Hello? Why did you bring me here?"
"All will be revealed in time, but for now, we wait." And as he finished speaking the dark hooded robed person burst through the cottage door. Quickly, Musashi spun around and drew his sword to the intuder. "Remove your hood or have your insides removed while you are still alive." With that the robed character removed the hood and revealed long jet black hair, which belonged to a woman. "Ah Tomoe San, good to see you made it. do you have what I asked for?"
"Yes I do, your lucky sword," handing over the mighty weapon which she could barely lift, "and the suppies are outside in the wagon."
"Good, and the book?"
"Right here,"and she plunged into her robe and pulled out the book which had been wrapped in the finest silk from europe, "safe and sound, just like you asked." Musashi trudged across the room and snatched the book away, tearing off the packaging like it was worthless paper. "HEY!! MUSASHI SAN!! That silk is priceless. You have ruined it."
"PRICELESS?? PRICELESS YOU SAY?? This book is worth more than a castle full of that useless silk. This is the lost book of the tamamayu legends. Spiritual fulfillment, enlightenment, the chance to become the ultimate warrior, and scholar. Mind, body and soul, all at their extremes. AND YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT MATERIAL POSSESIONS??"
Tomoe mumbled under her breath, "this from the man wearing expensive imported clothes and carrying the finest crafted sword in Nihon."
