Stewed Yellow Peppers and Tomatoes |
Ingredients: 2 lb Yellow Pepper (sliced) 1 lb Tomato (sliced) 4 - 5 slices of Bacon 1 large Onion (chopped) 1 tbs Paprika Salt and Pepper |
Preparation: Fry the bacon for 2-3 minutes then add the onion and fry until transparent. Add paprika, tomatoes, yellow peppers, and salt and pepper to taste. Steam covered for 10 minutes. Cook gently uncovered until tender. You can also add wieners or polish sausage. Lecso can be served on rice as a main dish, or with pork chops, steak and chicken as a side dish. |
