Sauerkraut Casserole
Ingredients:

400 g Lean Ground Beef
100 g Bacon
1 can Sauerkraut
100 g Rice
2 Onions (chopped)
200 ml Sour Cream
1 cup Milk
100 Mozarella Cheese (grated)
1 tsp Paprika
1 tbs Butter
Salt and Pepper
Preparation:

Preheat oven to 180 C / 350 F.

Cook the rice and leave it aside. Fry the onions until golden brown, season with paprika and remove from the heat. Brown the ground beef, drain and add it to the onion.  Mix in the rice and half of the sour cream.

Drain and rinse the sauerkraut. Spread half of the sauerkraut in the bottom of a pan, cover with the rice mixture. Cover with a the remaining sauerkraut. Cover it with the mixture of  the remaining sour cream and the milk.  Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.  Cover the dish and bake for 40minutes in the preheated oven.  Remove the lid and bake for 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
