Soundgarden and Chris Cornell

It all started when I fell in love with "grunge". I wanted something besides the Pink Floyd I had been listening to, so I borrowed my daughter's Ten CD [Pearl Jam]. I fell in love with it, and of course, I wanted more. My brother said "Soundgarden!". Then my world was perfect - Grunge was big, and was played constantly on the radio, those wonderful days when MTV played Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Hole, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, and Alice In Chains.

I must be tame and cool...

I know there were more, but you get the point. That was it for me. If it had the words, grunge or Seattle in it, I wanted it. I went deeper , and discovered Mother Love Bone, the movie Singles, and the dark side of their life as well-drugs and suicide. It seemed as if the whole thing was over just as soon as I discovered it. As far as I'm concerned, "grunge" will never die, at least not here at my place. I fell really hard for the voice of Chris Cornell. I feel that I can spiritually connect with what he is saying. I can go places when I listen to his music. I use the music for meditation, it fits so many moods.

People must change when they grow. I am very happy with whatever he is doing, it doesn't matter to me. I love it all!

I just got his new cd, Euphoria Morning- I love it! I put it on, close my eyes, and Chris does it again- takes me to that special place. I have fallen in love with him all over again.

There are so many sites out there that can give you all the information you need on Chris, Kim, Matt, and Ben, so I'll hook you up with all the links I can, but basically, I just have a "fan" site, (I'm only obsessed!) with some pics, and go visit the other places if it's information you want. Maybe, sometime, I'll add more informative things, but until then---
