Your website is really great. I am a stay at home mom with a 4 year old who is in preschool and a fourth grader. I am very active in my daughter's school and have helped the kindergarten teacher there for 3 years now as a volunteer. This year she is le ting me prepare lessons and units and actually teach them. We are currently doing a Thanksgiving unit that I prepared and the children are really excited about the activities they are doing. I am a certified teacher but jobs in this area of Pennsylvania re tough to get so for the time being I am having fun helping in this kindergarten class and the teacher really appreciates my effort. Once both of my kids are in school full-time I may sign up to sub although I would much rather have my own class.

Wow - I've been in preschool for 15 years and just this year got my dream job (at 49!), teaching kindergarten. My two fellow teachers and I are getting together this summer to do some planning. Unfortunately, we are only half day. We've been to several nservices on learning centers and tried having 10 centers the children visit on their own all week and check in with the teacher after each activity. Each center is labeled (color, shape, letter, word) and after completion, it is marked off their "ticket . Have you tried anything like this??? We only did it the last two months. We are also getting heavier into reading and writing and I enjoyed all of your information and know I will use alot of it. It is wonderful that you are willing to share AND have the time to make a web site! Question - do you do any other centers besides the early AM one where children chose 1 a day? Also does MTW mean you only do that activity Mon, Tue and Wed? How do you display all the letter charts? Thanks so much. Renata

I stunbled across your website and have had a lot of fun looking at everything!
