CULTURAL
At the present time, community is trying to
physically establish, i.e. to biuld or purchase a building, for Armenian Apostolic Church and/or
Armenian Community/Cultural Center in Atlanta area. Armenian Independent Cultural
Association of Atlanta (AICAA), Armenian Apostolic Church of Greater Atlanta (Cilicia /
Prelacy), and Armenian Church of Atlanta (Etchmiadzin / Diocese) are undertaking efforts
in this direction.
In July 2001, Armenian Church of Atlanta has purchased property
and is currently raising funds to build a church. Building
of the church is tentatively scheduled to start in September of 2002.
