Will the classes improve my ability to defend myself? Absolutely! From your first class you will begin learning the proper way to punch, kick, and move effectively. These skills combined with the increased aerobic capacity gained by taking the classes will allow you to more readily defend yourself if the occasion arises. Since we work on freestanding heavy bags during most every class, you learn to develop POWERFUL kicking and punching techniques. It's a lot more fun to hit something and NOT get hit back! |
