A little about our rabbitry and how its ran:

For those that don't know us Damien, Melanie, and I run The Moore's Rabbitry.  We are proud members of the ARBA.

Jesika (me typing) runs the website and I raise English Lops and Steel, light gray, and white Flemish Giants. I find both of these breeds to be rewarding. The Colors that IM currently working with in English Lops are: Chestnut, Orange, Fawn, Blue, Tort (blue and black),
Black frosted pearl, Rew, and Black.  I have a few chin carriers and a self chin, soon I hope to be working with
chin too. IN Flemish my main focus is on my Steel and Light gray.  I will not be breeding anymore white's.
With both of my breeds I focus on type, IM learning how to put two rabbits together to pull showable rabbits. With my English lops I will no longer sell anything that I would not put on the tables myself or use in my breeding programs.  My main purpose in breeding is to get good as I can to the standard. I will no longer sell pets.

Damien raises and shows Fawn and Sandys.  He has some really nice breeding pairs.  This year will be his start on showing HIS own rabbits, from HIS breedings.  He to is breeding to the standard and will not be selling pets.  He is running his own breeding program. We can't wait to see what his does end up throwing.

Melaine, a youth breeder, and our daughter breeds and shows American Fuzzy Lops.  She runs her own breeding program, with a little input from mom.  She is doing great and has a doe that is due in Jan.  She takes really good care in brushing her rabbits and showing them. She is really excited that she will have a litter of AFL of her own breeding to try on the table this spring.
She will be offering show, brood, and pet Q for people that spin wool.

I am the one that cleans and feeds, we feed KENT show and wouldn't feed anything else.  Our rabbits are loved and handled othen.  We here at our rabbitry do a indoor nestbox. This works well all year around.  You can read more about this on our
next box link.
