The Supreme body of AYAFE is the General Assembly (GA), which is called at least once in every two years. The GA accepts the Constitution, makes amendments and changes to it. In addition to that, the GA elects the President, Vice-President, five Board members and Control Revision Commission also evaluates the work of the previous Board during the term of its office and adopts the work plan of AYAFE.
The board leads the work of AYAFE between the meetings of the GA and is the current decision-making body. Board is comprised by the President, Vice-President, five Board members and the Secretary General and the Head of the Control Revision Commission without voting rights. Secretariat is the executive body of AYAFE and is headed by Secretary General who is appointed by the President. There are different departments within the organization, which are responsible for the daily work of the organization within their areas of responsibility.
