Retention: Prepared dentin and enamel surface is etched with acid conditioner for 15 seconds. A thorough water rinse and light drying with air follows; do not dessicate dentin surfaces. OptiBond Primer is placed on dentin surfaces, and gently evaporated with air. All etched surfaces are coated with a thin film of OptiBond adhesive that is light-cured for 20 seconds. OptiBond Solo Plus: After etching and rinsing, brush for 15 sec, air thin, cure for 20 sec. |

Dentin Restoration The dentin core is built up with the dentin shade composite resin. The core must allow room for the enamel "shell" and incisal shade for translucency at the incisal edge and corners. Use featheredge adaptation at the bevelled margins. |

Cure increments for 40 seconds at 1-2 mm thicknesses overlapping as needed to insure complete polymerization. Continue addition of dentin shade composite to replicate the dentin core with line angles, facial and incisal lobes. |
