Diastema Closure, page 2
Apply enamel shade composite and develop proximal contour. Be sure to minimize air voids when adding increments.  Light cure for 40 seconds between increments (that should be less than 2 mm in thickness).

Apply incisal shade composite where indicated.  Light cure increments for 40 seconds. Develop final facial, proximal, lingual, and incisal contours.  Slight excess for finishing and polishing should be considered for this first diastema restoration.

Develop tooth surface anatomy and contours with finishing burs, soflex discs, and interproximal strips.  Avoid flattening facial and lingual contours by maintaining lobes, ridges, and line angles.
