Extra Info
Red Platy seem
to have only one thing on their mind, to make more and more and more Red
Platy. Though my Red Platy have only bred about three to four times, I
have 51 baby Platy. The only thing I hate about these little love makers
is that they like really hard water and it takes half of an hour to get
the water just right but I don't mind if they do not mate for a while.
I already have enough to last me until I'm thirty! I guess I should have
only bought five instead of ten! Any way just have plenty of plants toward
the back and then they will do the rest. There is no need to take the other
adult fish out of the tank when the mother is about to give birth since
they do not eat the young but I do anyway. Make sure there is plenty of
food when the fry arrive or they will eat each other! I start feeding the
mother 6 teaspoons of Powder food every three or four hours on the twenty-eighth
and twenty-ninth day.
