Michael Maguire

Michael Maguire played the role of Enjolras in both the Original Broadway Cast and the Tenth Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables. He won a 1987 Tony Award for his rendition of Enjolras and it is obvious why - he has a voice to die for and drool over.

On top of having a killer voice, Michael is, in my opinion, one of the hottest guys out there! One glance into those gorgeous brown eyes and you immediately fall in love. He's definitely the hottest guy to ever play Enjolras and certainly the best singer!

Every time I watch the Les Misérables Tenth Anniversary Concert on video, I cry when Enjolras dies. I can't help it - watching Michael Maguire get shot and die a slow and painful death so the people of Paris can be free makes me bawl every single time. When Michael won a Tony for that role, it came as no surprise to anyone - he certainly deserved it!

I think I need to do some clearing up - Michael is not pictured with me here (although I wish he was) - that is Frances Ruffelle, the original Eponine, who also won a Tony that night.

Michael Maguire will live on forever as the greatest Enjolras to ever grace the Les Misérables stage.
