The toys for the cult sci-fi series Babylon 5 were initially produced by Exclusive Premiere from 1997 in both 6" figures and 9" dolls before N2 Toys picked up the 6" license in 2000.

Exclusive Premiere produced 3 series of 6" figures, each accompanied by a craft from the series except the Sadow Sentient. The first set was sold thru Toys 'R' Us and laterthru comic shops via the Previews distribution, both in cases of 16 figures. The number of figures in each case (case assortment) is shown under each set in blue for Toys 'R' Us and red for Previews. Each set is pictured below. Only the Previews sets included variant (repainted) or short packed figures.The only variant figure to include some resculptingand repainting is the Minbari Delenn from the first set.
There was also a repaint of the Ivanova's uniform figure from Set II released as an exclusive for White's Guide magazine.

N2 Toys has so far produced 1 set of 6" figures(series IV).

Set IV was orginally to have been producedby Exclusive Premiere in 1999 and include a Pak'ma'ra in the assortmentas shown in the original advert to the left. It was also to contain a variantLochley. When the set was finally produced by N2 Toys in 2000 these figureswere not part of the assortment, but variant ambassadors were.
