i went to a cold reading after work today. the script was well written and will be very controversial when it comes out. i just found out that the director has delayed filming tho. anyhow, the reading went horribly for me. marcia, another girl who went to the reading did very well. i was very impressed and after she went, i knew that would not be able to do as well. and i didnt'. i couldnt' feel the character at the time and marcia's amazing performance blew me away. i left feeling thinking, 'what the hell am i thinking considering acting!' as i drove home tho, i knew i wouldn't get the part, but wished that i had done a better job at the reading. i realized that i could relate to this character, very well, and i shoulda been able to conjure up some emotion. but i guess that's how the cookie cumbles.
peg is coming to town! YAY! i love hanging out with peg when she's back in the bay area. i met peg about 5-6 years ago when i did roseball. she chaperoned us to taiwan. it was sooo much fun! she took us shopping, eating, snacking, clubbing, drinking... ahhh, what memories. at this one club, she and i had this little crush on one of the bartenders and we were battling to buy drinks so one of us could order from him. hehee. anywyas, she moved to la about a year ago and had a baby since then. peg's coming with her babygirl and i'm excited to see how big ashlyn has grown. tell me she isnt' the cutest baby you'd ever seen.
look at her cute chin and arm rolls! she's only 7 months now (about 4 1/2 months in the picture) but i'm hoping she'll be big enough to be in the wedding. hehee, i told peg to do baby aerobics with her everymorning.
