peg informs me that wing is not in la to hang out with her, but actually to court a pretty young lady down there. haha. i take the smart out of 'smart guy' from yesterday. he's just a guy. *smirk* last night, parkin and i attended the HILARIOUS show, "puppetry of the penis" at the theater on the square on post street. i talked about it a few weeks back and bought tickets for last night's showing. it's funny because last year, parkin surprised me and brought me to watch the vagina monologues last year, and this year, i took him to watch puppetry of the penis. hehe. anyways the show featuring the two shlongs of these australian guys was very entertaining. it looked really painful, and they saw the pain in our faces as they constructed various things with their ding-dongs, but assured us that it didnt' hurt. morsley and friendly (the two guys) came out wearing nothing but capes, shoes and socks, threw the capes off after introducing themselves and began the show. (yes they were nekkid the whole time and compromised their winkies for each installation) just to name a few, the penial origami show included an eyeball, eiffel tower, various birds, sea urchin, hot dog, kangaroo, snail, pelican, a brain, fried chicken, fan, and they concluded the show by doing a step to step lesson on how to make a hamburger using the penis, scrotum, and balls. the guy named friendly was also able to somehow make his wee-wee disappear! it was weird... he somehow pushed it all the way it...?... it was a very interesting and humorous show. plus i LOVED their deep australian accents. parkin doesn't know how it's possible that they bend, pull and yank at their shlongs like that. i wanted him to try doing the hamburger but needless to say, he refused. it was so funny tho because parkin would get really quiet during the show while everyone was laughing and i would look over, he'd have this look on his face of disbelief and pain at the same time. hahahaha. i'm hungry. i think i'll heat up some vienna sausages. hehe before the show, parkin and i had dinner at this yummy thai restaurant a few blocks from the theater. they have a yummy rice dish called fried chicken over fried rice. mmmm.... after dinner, we walked around the block and checked out the pan pacific hotel on post street. we're looking into hotels for our wedding night. we don't exactly want to go home after the banquet. can you imagine? go home on our wedding night to sleep in our bed which is directly under his parent's room. uh, no thanks. so we are looking into some nice hotels in the downtown area. i guess that's the downfall about not having our reception at a nice hotel. so anyhow, the pan pacific is really pretty and his friend's aunt told us that it's possibly about $200 per night. our other choice is the hyatt regency in the embarcadero. i thought that would be nice because the equinox restuarant is in the hyatt, so i figured we could have a nice lunch or dinner the following day or night there. i'd never been there, but it seems kinda romantic eh? i had a wondeful night with my lubber last night. we haven't had a 'date night' in a long time. dinner and show in the beautiful city on a gorgeous night. what else could i ask for? ~ |
