| we lost our parakeet Tommy......... was the only parakeet i know that talked - and he had a mouth of a truck driver, I cried : and i cried even more when my son cried , it was his bird. I know when we loose loved one's it's the most painful thing in the world.... Pets are one of the family and it is such a empty feeling when they go..... Today was the first day i woke up in five years and did not hear Tommy singing or talking - just felt so weird and it was sad.. Love and Hugs Sherry!! Mary & Posse |

| Yacky, my little love bird just went over the Rainbow Bridge. A couple of hours ago, he seemed to be in some distress and I had a feeling it was his time. So I put him in the warmest room of the house by himself. He wasn't hand tamed so I thought he would feel safer in a nice warm quiet room. I just went to check on him and he was gone. He was at least 21 years old and I've been expecting this for quite some time. But it is still hard. What a crappy start for 2002. This makes #3 (bad things supposedly come in three's), so maybe the rainbow bridge will get a rest for a while. 1/1/02 Chris & Piper |
