Wikky 4/2 |
He fought so hard and long but today our precious little Silver Angel, Wikky kitty, went to the bridge. He loved his Boston Buddies so I'm sure that he will be waiting for them. He used to drop their suckie bears in the toilet when they made him mad, and knocked my bears and stuffed things off the shelves for the boys when he wasn't mad at them. He was their "partner in crime" and we miss him so much already. Right up to the last, he was giving "wikky kisses" and we are not alone in our tears and our heartache. |
Edalee Handley |
Roseanne Handley born May 5, 1990 in Garfield, Texas died in her Mom's arms at 1:30 this afternoon. Rosie leaves to morn her loss her always Mom Edalee, Daughter Jazzmine, age 9, Granddaughter Mindy Sue, age 6 and Great Grandson Toby Too, age 4, and scores of friends both 2 and 4 legged. Miss Rosie as she was affectionately called by all who knew her, taught her Mom so much about life. In her senior years, Rosie and her Mom would take slow walks together when Rosie felt like it. During those years, she taught her Mom to slow down and enjoy each blade of grass and each new flower even tho Miss Rosie was blind. Miss Rosie taught her Mom so much about life. Miss Rosie was the meeter and greeter at Casa Handley for all the little new foster dogs that came through her door. Lovingly referred to as the Toy Nazi, Rosie would make each feel special and welcome as long as they didn't mess with her toys. Rosie never met a person or a dog she didn't like. She found good in everyone and everything. I should be an wonderful as Miss Rosie. Miss Rosie never minded sharing her Mom with all the little foster dogs. She always knew she was #1. Miss Rosie will be buried in the morning beside her friend Feo who tragically died in a house fire on January 20th. Her Uncle Terry will dig her grave as he has for so many of my little 4 legged friends throughout the years. Miss Rosie will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for me someday. Her heart is now strong, her Cancer gone and she can now see all those flowers that for many years she only got to smell. She will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have ever gotten to meet her. My grief is overwhelming. Edalee |
