Daytona International Speedway
Historic Cars & the Garages
The infield area of the track is where ALL the activity is!  The infield has an area with cars that have raced in previous years, bleachers all around and the garages.

You actually drive under the main track & park right in the middle of the racing & activities!
It's really nice to be able to park & walk with the car parked so close.  You can stop back for lunch, Krispy Kremes or dump jackets.  To the right Cameron & I are discussing the advantages of multi carbs & air cooling in an older Porshe.  Below Liz & Cam are looking at a Brumos Porshe that raced in previous years.  The photo to the right is one of their entries in this year's race over in the garage area.
This is not "your daddy's" garage!  These are the cleanest & most organized garages you'll ever see!
Cameron was pretty much in "awe" at all the cars, trailers, drivers & hub of activity.
The ROLEX 24 Hour Race is the longest race they'll do all year.  This is, unless they go to France for  LeMans, the only other 24 hour race.
There are trailers for hauling cars & other small trailers that  act as additional "shops".

Fast Cars & Fat Tires
Here Cameron is checking out a rear end axle assembly & transmission, probably valued at more than his dad's whole truck.
