We at Barnabas Heart Ministry strongly believe that any vision of God must find its birthplace in the secret place of prayer. It was in the prayer closet that Barnabas Heart Ministry was born. Barnabas Heart Ministry is first and foremost a ministry of prayer and then a ministry of Worship and Praise to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Barnabas Heart Ministry is directed by the team of Wilson Ramos And Carmen E. Hernandez. Both are committed members of the Bay Ridge Christian Center in Brooklyn New York (See Link).
As a Psalmist of God, I have been called to serve the body of Christ by teaching the truth of God’s Word through the gift of song. My mandate from the Lord is to encourage the saints and to teach the lost about the love of God through the gift of song. The goal is that in lifting up the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, all men might come to know Him in his glorious resurrection.
I minister in both English and Spanish working with accompaniment CD tracks. I sing the contemporary Christian Music of Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. We at Barnabas Heart Ministry believe that the Bible is the “Rhema” word of God (or revealed word of God) to mankind. We believe in one God, who is comprised of three co-equal persons in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Man, who fell into sin through willful disobedience, was separated from God, and has only one hope of redemption and restoration of his relationship with God. And that is through the belief in the death and resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, in whom salvation and forgiveness from sin is achieved.
We do not believe that performing good deeds saves us. We believe that it is only by the Grace of God that we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. However, human works are an outward evidence of one's salvation. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the church today.
We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return to bring believers home to Heaven. Those who have not accepted Christ as Savior will suffer eternal separation from God. But those who believe will live in Heaven forever with Christ.
