Q - Are ATV's allowed on City streets? A - ATV's are generally allowed if they are properly registered in the State of MInnesota, are operated by a person over the age of 16 years old, used for limited transportation such as the closest route in and out of town, and if operated in compliance with State Law. Operation is prohibited on County and State roads. This includes those portions of their roadways within the City limits. |

Q - Can a person over 21 years of age legally drink alcoholic beverages in their yard? A - Yes, but City Ordinance #205 prohibits a person from consuming alcoholic beverages on sidewalks, streets, and alleys. The only exception would be within a designated boundary with City Council permission, such as the "beer garden" area at Potato Days. |

Q - Can semi trucks and trailers be parked in the residential areas of town? A - No. The only exception to this would be for deliveries, moving companies, and very brief visits to a residence with an unloaded rig. Very brief is defined as within one hour. Large trucks also fit the definition in the City Ordinance language. A designated truck parking area is located along Front Street South by the railroad depot. |

Q - How close can a person park by a mailbox? A - No vehicles shall park within eight feet of any residential mailbox between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on any day except Sunday. |
