ALABAMA
HOME      ARMY      TEXAS      GERMANY      ALABAMA      SAN MARCOS
While living there I attended an elementary school on base and had my first accouter attending a school off base. I attended 3rd through 6th grade at Fort Rucker Elementary School then preceded to go to Coppinville Jr High School located in Enterprise, Alabama to attend my 7th grade year there. Attending school off base was such a joy for me. While attending Coppinville Jr High School I came to meet and know so many new people and see that I was making friendships that would stay with me forever.
Living in an area located right there in the Gulf of Mexico we experienced many hurricanes and we have come to adapt to the rain and wind associated with the hurricanes.
I was given the chance to go with my father to sit in a flight simulator and my dad would teach me to fly planes
Having the chance to live where most army soldiers are trained in aviation was such a great experience for me.

We moved to Fort Rucker, Alabama in 1993 after leaving Germany. We relocated there so that my father as a Chief Warrant Officer he could teach other soldiers how to fly airplanes and helicopters. Fort Rucker is known to many as the Home of Aviation.
Many people assume that living in Alabama you will get a big southern accent but I never did because I have always had my Texan accent and never plan to get rid of it. Living in Alabama taught me that the weather is ever changing and you never know if it will be rain or shine or both. I learned early on that people made assumptions about Alabama without getting the true facts.
