Bali bombing suspect calls for victory in Iraq
One of the organisers of the October 2002 Bali bomb attacks has called on fellow
Muslims to support Iraq as he was handed over to prosecutors.
Our Indonesia correspondent Tim Palmer says Imam Samudra called out for Muslims
to support the victory of Iraq as he left a Bali court on Wednesday.
He said he hoped America would be destroyed as soon as possible.
Police handed Samudra over to prosecutors, along with two of the minor suspects
who assisted him before and after the Bali attack, Abdul Rauf and Andri Oktavia.
Police also handed over Samudra's laptop computer and a motorbike to be used in
the trial, which is expected to start within two months.
The trial of another suspect, Amrozi, is expected to begin in late April.
