» CHAPTER TEN «

"Ok we are here!" Their driver said as he pulled up to the walkway.

"Where are we?" Rachael asked

"You gotta put this on." Nick said handing her a blindfold.

"Why?" Rachael asked

"Just do it!" AJ said putting it on her

"Ok!" Rachael said as AJ put it on her. Rachael grabbed AJ and Brian's hands as they walked her down the walkway to a blanket on the beach with a fire and McDonalds.

"Ok here you go!" Brian said as he took the blindfold off.

"Aw you guys shouldn't have!" Rachael told them as she gave them a hug.

"Well last night you said you wanted McDonalds so we got it for you and added a special Backstreet touch" AJ joked

After everyone was done eating Nick and Brittany went for a walk.

"So Brittany you have not told me much about yourself!" Nick said as he was skipping rocks

"Well what do you wanna know?" She asked

"Well where do you live? Work? Boyfriend? Do you live alone?" Nick asked. Brittany just looked down at the sand. "Don't worry you don't have to tell me where you work."

Brittany smiled "It's not that. I kind of have a boyfriend!" She mumbled

"Don't worry I kind of have a girlfriend" Nick told her

"Really?"

"Yep so why don't we do this! We become really good friends and hang out and stuff?" Nick asked

"I would like that!" Brittany told him

"Hey you guys ready?" Kevin asked as he walked up to them!

"Ya!" Nick said grabbing Brittany's hand and walked back to the limo. When Brittany and Nick got in the limo Brittany sat next to Rachael

"Did you tell him?" Rachael whispered to Brittany.

"Yes I did! I'll tell you about it later!" Brittany whispered back.

They dropped Brittany off first and Nick walked her to the door. " I'm glad we are friends!" Nick said and gave Brittany a kiss on the cheek.

"AW how cute!" Everyone in the limo yelled. Nick and Brittany looked to see Brian, Rachael, And AJ looking out the sunroof and Kevin and Howie with their heads stuck out the window.

"Oh shut up!" Nick snapped "Bye Brittany!"

"Bye Nick!" Brittany said as Nick walked back to the limo "Bye guys." Brittany walked inside and Nick got in the limo

"So Nicky anything you want to tell us?" Brian asked

"Nope not a thing!" Nick said and looked out the window

"Oh Brittany!" AJ Joked

"Oh Nick!" Brian joked and gave AJ a hug and acted like they were making out.

"Oh grow up!" Nick snapped. Every one started laughing

"We are at my house!" Rachael said as the limo stopped.

"I'll walk you to the door!" AJ said as he opened the door

"Thank you guys for everything I will never forget it!" Rachael thanked as she hugged the guys good-bye.

"Bye Rachael!" They said as Rachael got out. AJ walked her to the door. "Thank you for everything and I had a blast last night even though the movie scared the crap out of me!"

"Your welcome!" AJ laughed "Hey here is my number call me and we can hang out some time ok!" He handed her a piece of paper

"Ok I will!" She told him as she gave him a hug and he kissed her on her cheek." Bye!" Rachael walked inside. She turned on the light and looked at the mirror "AHHHHHHHH!" Rachael screamed as she ran out side.

"What's wrong?" AJ asked. All Rachael did was point to the house. AJ ran into the house. Rachael sunk to the ground crying and Nick, Brian, Kevin, and Howie came running up to Rachael.

When AJ went inside Rachael's house was trashed and wrote on the mirror was "Your going to pay you little bitch!" AJ went outside. "Rachael do you have any idea who this would be?"

"Chris I know it was Chris!" Rachael said wiping away the tears. Brian pulled out his cell phone.

After about 2 hours of being questioned by the cops they told AJ not to leave her alone. So the guys agreed to have her stay at AJ. They dropped Kevin Howie and Brian off and then headed to AJ's.

When they got to AJ's house Rachael went and sat down on the couch with a blank look on her face. "Rachael do you want to go to sleep?" AJ asked

"I can't I'm afraid to close my eyes!" Rachael told him.

"You need some sleep why don't I go with you and you can just rest your eyes." AJ told her

"Ok maybe your right!" Rachael said as AJ helped her to the bedroom. "I'm sorry you have to deal with all this!"

"What are you saying?" AJ asked confused.

"I'm going to stay at Brittany's tomorrow! You should not have to put up with me you have only known me a day!" Rachael told him

"Rachael don't worry about it!" AJ told her. "Just get some rest right now!" After Rachael fell asleep AJ went down stairs where Nick was.

"Is she asleep?" Nick asked

"Yes!" AJ said as he sat down and put his face in his hands. "She thinks she is being a burden on me!"

"You cant blame her I mean look at it this way if you just met her yesterday and today you found out you had to stay with her wouldn't you feel like a burden!" Nick explained

"I know but she is not! I like having her around!" AJ told him

"I know we can tell!" Nick told him "Just talk to her about it tomorrow! You need some sleep to!"

"I know, your right!" AJ said getting up.

"I'm always right!" Nick joked. AJ just laughed and went upstairs.

When AJ walked into the room Rachael was sprawled out all over the bed. AJ just grabbed a pillow and a blanket and laid down on the floor. AJ had just gotten to sleep it was about 2:30.

"BRITTANY!!!!!!" Rachael screamed as she woke up.

AJ shot up "Rachael calm down what happened?" AJ asked as Rachael began to cry.

"Chris, Brittany he's going to hurt her I have to call her!" Rachael cried

"Brittany is fine! Why would Chris go after Brittany?" AJ asked

"Because he dislikes Brittany because she was the one who got me to leave him!" Rachael explained.

"Ok I'll get you the phone." AJ said

"Brittany!" Rachael said panicked

"Rachael what's wrong?" Brittany asked worried.

"Make sure all your doors are locked and get the baseball bat I bought you!" Rachael told her

"What happened?" Brittany asked as she started to get worried.

"Chris trashed my house!" Rachael explained

"Rachael where are you?" Brittany asked

"I'm at AJ's!" Rachael told her "Do you want to come over?"

"Yes! I'll be there soon!" Brittany told her.

"We will come get you!" Rachael told her "keep your door locked cause who knows what Chris is thinking!"

"Ok hurry!" Brittany said grabbing the bat!

"Rachael is their something you did not tell me?" AJ asked

"Yes Chris has done this before and he went after Brittany and beat her really bad!" Rachael explained and I don't want her hurt again!"

"Ok I will go tell Nick!" AJ got up and went to nicks room. "Nick wake up! Nick!"

"What? What's wrong?" Nick asked as he rolled over

"Me and Rachael are going to get Brittany! We will be back soon! I will explain when we get back!" AJ told him as he walked out of the room.

"Ok let's go!" Rachael said as she ran downstairs

"She will be fine Rachael just calm down!" AJ told her as they got in the car.

"I know your right!" Rachael said as she started to calm down.

When Rachael and AJ pulled up to Brittany's house Rachael got out and knocked on the door. "Brittany? It's me!" Rachael yelled. Rachael looked at AJ  "She is not answering."

"Is there a back door?" AJ asked. Rachael and AJ walked around to the back door. "It's locked!"

"Brittany!" Rachael yelled "I know where we can get in" Rachael ran over to the back garage door. When Rachael and AJ got in they walked into the living room "Brittany where are you?" Rachael yelled

AJ reached over and turned on the lights. "Brittany it's us!"

"I know where she is!" Rachael said as she ran upstairs to Brittany's room.

"Where is she?" AJ asked. Rachael went over to the closet and opened the door.

"Brittany why didn't you answer us?" Rachael asked confused

"Cause I think some one is out side!" Brittany told them

"We probably scared him away when we got here!" AJ told her

"Not if it's Chris! He will stick around just to start shit!" Rachael explained to him.

"I'll go check it out! Do you have another bat?" AJ asked. Brittany handed him a metal bat. "Ok you guys stay here and ill go check the house!" AJ shut the door and the girls stayed in the closet.

About 20 minutes later AJ came back. " You guys can come out! We got him"

"Who is we?" Brittany asked.

"Well that metal bat came in handy he has a broken leg and so he could not do much and the cops just arrested him." AJ explained. "They need you to go down to the station though."

"Ok!" Rachael said as they got out of the closet
