» CHAPTER ONE «

March 1995

"Go Vanderbuilt!! Come on get the damn ball!" exclaimed Alexis with her light brown hair in a messy ponytail.

"Calm down Lexis! it's just a game!" said Alexis best friend, Katie. She put herself together nicely with her flowy blond hair in a neat little ponytail with a ribbon.

"Hush up, Blondie! I like the game!" Alexis said jokingly not taking her eyes off the Kentucky wildcats and Vanderbuilt Commadors.

HALF TIME:
"Since your so into the game why don't ya go get me some nachos" Katie said.

"Yea, yea" she said.

AT THE CONCESSION STAND:
After paying for her nachos Alexis turned around bumped into a guy spilling nachos all over him! A glint of gold fell out of his pocket.

"O my gosh, I'm soo sorry!" Alexis exclaimed as she saw the most beautiful clear blue eyes.

"That's alright", the mystery man said. with a slight country accent hinting that he must be for the cats.

"You dropped something" Alexis said as she picked up a ring.  he blushedshe eyed a T-shirt stand where they were selling wildcats shirts.

"Hey i will buy u another shirt. pick one" Alexis said.

He hesitated at first but finally agreed after she begged him. As the mystery guy picked a blue wildcats shirt, Alexis got a better look at him: small curls, most beautiful eyes she has ever seen.

"Hey B, the second half is about to start." A blond guy yelled.

"I'm coming don't get your tighty whities in a wad!!" he said. "I'm sorry I got to go. Thanx for the shirt."

"No problem" Alexis said.

Their eyes met and she felt electricity between them as the buzzer rang for the second half to begin. Alexis went back to her seat thinking that she wished she could have gotten to know the guy.

"Hey where are my nachos. What happened? Did ya find a hott guy?" Katie said.
