» CHAPTER FOUR «

AT THE CLUB:

As the group (KEVIN, AJ, ALEXIS, AND KATIE) entered the club, they were met with loud music and lots of people.

"Damn, this party is jamming!! Now which one of you lovely ladies would like to dance with the hottest guy in town?" AJ screamed over the music.

"I do, where is he?" Alexis says mockingly.

"Right here," AJ says.

"O It's you?!?!" Alexis replies jokingly.

AJ takes of his sunglasses and gives her the saddest puppy dog eyes.

"OK, ok. I was just joshing (means to joke) with ya! You know your the SEXIEST GUY AROUND!" Alexis smiles wickedly.

As they go off to dance, Kevin and Katie bump into Howie and find a table. Howie says that the rest of the guys are going to be here in a few minutes. After a couple of dances, Alexis gets thirsty and decides to go get something to drink at the bar. As AJ takes Katie on the dance floor. As Alexis tries to make her way  back to the table with her drink, the "THONG SONG"
comes on and Alexis is crushed by the crowd. She Suddenly gets pushed backwards falling onto someone and spilling her
drink all over him (ss you may have gathered she's kinda clumsy).

As she recovers, she looks into the most beautiful deep blue deep blue eyes and knows she has seen them somewhere before.

"Sorry! Someone bumped into me I'm soo clumsy!" Alexis says a little embarrassed.

"Hey, I know you! Haven't you spilled something on me before?" The mystery guy says.

"O My Gosh! I can't believe I spilled something on the same person twice! I'm SO SORRY......." Alexis  exclaims blushing deeply.

"Brian, but you can call me B-rok," Brian said smiling.

"Ok. I'm Alexis. Sorry, I gotta go! See ya!" ALEXIS says, hoping he'll ask her to dance.

"Ya, I got to go meet my friends see ya" Brok says

Alexis makes her way back to the table and she notices Brok is following her. Maybe he's going to the bathroom?? Alexis thought.

She sits down next to Kevin. Howie says "Looks like you have met Brian one of the other band members!!"

"Brian, this is Alexis, Katie's friend, you know Janet's daughter!" Kevin says with a  look that says she's mine

"OO..  so you're gonna spend the summer with us?" Brian asks interested ignoring Kevin's glances.

Alexis, Brian, Kevin, Howie all get in a long conversation about b-ball, which happens to be Alexis's favorite sport. Alexis sees Katie and AJ  dancing. It looks like they're having a blast but then some tall blonde dude with a hat cuts in as a slow song comes on.

"Alexis..Alexis  Ya there??"Kevin asks.

"OO...sorry. I guess I was dazing!!" Alexis says. Alexis scans the crowd and spots a blonde bimbo. (NOTE: No offense to blondes with big boobs) "See that girl over there," she says to Kevin.

"Ya," Kevin  answers.

"I hate those kinda people. They are sooo air headed!! GGGRRRRR.. It just pisses me off and the losers that actually go out with them!" Alexis says.

Kevin, Howie, and AJ (who came back to the table from the bathroom) all start busting out laughing! Alexis looks around confused.

"Great! She's coming over here!!" Alexis says.

"Hey Brian. You gonna come dance??" the big boob blonde asks.

"Alexis, I would like you to meet my girlfriend, Candy," Brian says.

"OOO my gosh................ I'm sooo sorry!! O hey, Candy, nice to meet you!!" she said trying her best to smile.

"Umm... Yea whatever! Are you a fan??? Do you want my autograph??" Candy says.

"No, I'm a personal friend of Kevin's" Alexis says smiling as she gazes at Kevin.

"OK, whatever! Come on Brian!" Candy says with a glare.

"OOO my gosh! I feel so stupid!!" Alexis says. 'To think I actually liked  him for a second,' she thought.

"Don't worry about it. No one really likes her," Kevin says still laughing.

"Gee thanks.... Well can we go now?" Alexis says in an irritated voice.

"In a sec, you promised  me one dance," Kevin says as they walk to the dance floor.

As the song  ends the rest of the guys decide it's late and they have a shooting in the morning.

"I'll call the limo," Howie says.

While everyone is waiting outside, Katie looks up into some familiar eyes.

"F***, It's you!!!!!!!" Katie screams.

"What the hell??" Nick says as everyone looks at them quizzly.

"OOOO... famous Nick Carter does it again. Maybe if you called or even wrote you would know who I am!" Katie screamed furiously.

"Katie, control yourself!" Alexis says.

"Oh my gosh! Katie?? Lauren's friend? It's been so long!" Nick says going in for a hug.

"Excuse me? You obviously don't remember correctly," Katie says backing away from the hug.

"OOOOOOO,....... Man!! You've  just been dissed and dismissed!!" AJ says jokingly.

As the limo pulls up,  everyone gets into the car silently. Alexis sits next to Kevin while he puts an arm around her. Brian gets a little fidgety even though Candy is sitting next to him. Katie sits next to AJ, flirting the whole ride, but first she yells at the river:

"Step on it! I'm not riding with this asshole for any longer than I have to!"

"Chill out woman!" AJ says.

AT THE HOTEL:

Katie jumps out as soon as the limo stops. She and AJ start heading upstairs. (OK people turn off your nasty  minds!! They went into separate rooms!). Brian tells Kevin to go ahead without him because he wanted to tell Candy goodnight. To get out, Alexis had to pass Brian and Candy. As she did this, Kevin opened the door like a true southern gentleman (What a sweetie!).

"Awwwwwww.... Kevy.... You're so sweet!!" Alexis says as Brian stares at Kevin. As she closes the door, she catches a glimpse of Brian and Candy's kiss. She feels a pang of jealousy.

Kevin and Alexis meet up at the elevator. As they step in the elevator, they are alone. Silence. Both in their own worlds. The elevator was about to reach their floor when all of a sudden the light blinks and the elevator shifts causing Kevin to fall forward onto Alexis. As the lights slowly dim, Kevin stares deep into her blue-green eyes. She looks into his winter green eyes. As their lips slowly meet, the elevator doors open and they deepen the kiss.

Alexis glances to the side just in time to see Brian open his door with a disappointed look in his eyes. When the kiss slowly faded, Kevin walks Alexis to her room. They say goodnight. Alexis falls deep into sleep...........

 2 AM:

"Damn, where's the aspirin??" Alexis says with a pounding headache.

"What are yopu doing at this time of night?" Katie says groggly.

"I need some medicine for my headache. I'm going down  to the first floor to get some," Alexis says but Katie was already asleep.

Alexis pulls on her pink slippers and pulls on her robe. She heads downstairs  to the vending machines. As she presses the button for the machine, the medicine gets stuck!

"GRRRRRRRRRR......! Piece of crap!" Alexis screams as she bangs on the machine.

"Good thing machines don't fight back!" a voice says from behind.

Alexis turns around to see Brian in a familiar Wildcats shirt with his curl's all in a tangle.

"That shirt looks familiar!" Alexis says.

Brian laughs as he presses the button to the machine.

The medicine falls out immediately.

"I  guess you have to have the magical touch," he says in his best Jim Carrey voice.

Alexis laughs.

"You have a headache from the club?" Brian asks with concern in his eyes.

"Yeah. Blondes give me a headache." (NO OFFENSE AGAIN!) Alexis couldn't believe what she had just said. Before
she could apologize, Brian replied:

"Well, at least I have somebody!" Brian says angrily.

"That ain't much of a person unless you count the boobs!" Alexis says as she stalks off totally regretting what she has said.

Brian stares dumbfounded unbelieving what they had just said.
