Lynne Kniesly Tarleton,
of Matthews (Charlotte), NC, is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their very first grandchild in early July.  With the exciting news still very new, she is already anticipating spoiling the grandbaby, just like all her friends have done with theirs. World travelers off on an adventure of a lifetime -- This from Karen Doyle Henn: "My husband and I are getting ready to leave Feb 4th for a 9 week adventure to Australia and New Zealand. Can hardly wait. Wish us well. It will be a lifetime dream coming to reality."  Sure hope Karen doesn't try to pick a kangaroo's pocket!   (2-3-02)
Linda McIntyre Scott has finished her chemo and treatments and so far her doctor feels that she is doing very well since he can find no signs of big lumps or bumps, so that news is very promising. She asked that I pass on this message, "Thank you all SO much for your prayers, emails, and support!!! I'm smiling :0)   (2-3-02)
Pat McClelland Grant, and her husband are each doing well after a tough year last year.  Surgeries, broken bones, and an assortment of yukky things are now in the past and Pat says she is so grateful for the support of old classmates and other friends during their time of distress.  (1-13-02)
H.C. Renkenberger has a new granddaughter:  "Hope Elizabeth Housefield was born two weeks early on Jan 19 weighing a healthy 7lb 2oz. We are delighted in our new family member."  (3-24-01)
Rex Grant, shares some good news with us.  I am now the Pastor at the Grace Fellowship Church in Logan. It is at the corner of Market and 17th Streets.  My father started that church in 1934.  It has evolved through the years and finally landed where it is now.  I plan to stay until I am 65 years old. I am already retired from Chrysler in Kokomo and at that time I will retire altogether.  I still teach Bible studies in Kokomo as I have for the last 30 some years and also have a recorded tape ministry in which I send taped cassette Bible studies to anyone anywhere, FREE, upon request. This has been a very fruitful and satisfying ministry.  I will be moving from Kokomo to Logan in the Spring to live in the parsonage. So, its back home again!(3-2-01)
