perfect every time July 24, 2006
I only wear mac lipglass because i've never experienced a
better product for my lips. I where lipglass in sinnamon alone or over a
lipstick(also mac) and it never fails me:)
Great! July 21, 2006
I have used Mac before but I decided to remind myself of
the products and get a lipgloss. I forgot how great they are!
I chose Pop Mode (its a cross between a lavender and
pinkish/berry....very beautiful). I have very fair skin and this makes
my lips and face pop! It gives me a good color and the shine is intense!
I love high shine glosses and this does the trick! It feels great. I get
alot of compliments. So if you want a change in color but dont wanna look
like a freak, theses glosses are the way to go!
Great quality, great colors, great product! May 12, 2006

After reading so many glowing reviews, I recently tried
my first MAC lipgloss. I chose Lovechild, a beautiful plummy pink with
hints of gold. The product is thick and goes on somewhat sticky, but in
a good way because the consistency makes the color long-lasting. In
fact, the gloss feels wonderful on my lips, and it has a pleasant
vanilla smell. Also, I've found Lovechild to be an extremely versatile
color: I can wear it alone for a full mirrored look, I can blot the
gloss for a sheerer look with more of the gold flecks shining through,
and I can layer it over other glosses/lipsticks for endless variety.
If you can't afford to buy MAC, the drugstore brand Rimmel also makes a
decent quality gloss with several shades that are quite similar to MAC's
(for example, Rimmel's Snog is very close to Lovechild, but without the
sparkle). However, the quality of the MAC products can't be beat, and I
would definitely recommend buying the more expensive MAC gloss for at
least an occasional splurge.
All I use is MAC lip glass March 31, 2006

I got hooked in to MAC products in the mid 90s and been
stuck since then. I use to be hooked to their lipsticks, like chintz and
frenzy. Then, I tried the lip glass and that's all I get. I also like
MACS paints and eyeshadows for my eyes. Paints are a must to keep that
pretty color on all day and bring out the color of your eyeshadow.
Another reviewer mentioned just the plain clear lip gloss and gave it a
few stars. That is totally different from the actual lipglass with a
color. The clear lip gloss is really for adding shine to a color that
you may have on already. Anyways, if you are just going by these reviews
and getting some lipglass, you might also want to purchase a lip pencil.
If you get nuetral colors to brown lipglass, pick up the Chestnut
pencil. Two red pencils that are a must Currant (sp?) and Nightmoth (mix
of Chestnut and Currant).
My favorite lip glasses are Lure-X (shimmery shear yellow color, goes on
nice over lipstick that you want to add gold tones to or just by itself
for a beautiful natural look), Moonstone (great with chestnut, its a
glossy pinkish like color that is close to Nymphette but without the
gold tones--if not in store, go to MAC site), Decorative or Pop Mode (shimmery
dark red color, good with nightmoth), and Spirited (pretty silvery solid
nuetral like color) or Elicit (kind of different from Spirited, little
more shear then Spirit). Oh Baby is great (brown shimmery color-very
popular), but I wore it out when it first came out and I just can't wear
it anymore.
