Well of Healing
Slaine (alternatively Salin or Slane)
One would believe that Airmid would not speak to her father much after he had been so cruel but when war called to the Tuath De Danann, they set their differences aside. In preparation for the Second Battle of Mag Tuired, Airmid, and two of her brothers as well worked with Diancecht, taking one of all the herbs in Ireland to create a well of healing called Tiobraid Slaine meaning fountain or spring of wellness. Legend indicates that Tiobraid Slaine can be found west of Mag Tuired and to the east of Loch Arboch. After the herbs were thrown into the waters Airmid and her family sang incantations over the well infusing the magical properties together.
At Tiobraid Slaine mortally wounded men were cast in at the moment they were slain and emerged fully healed and ready to do battle again. The power of the incantations of the four healers and the power of all the herbs of Ireland served the Tuath De Dananna well.
When the enemy discovered the well it is said there were quick to fill it with stones casting away the healing waters forever.
