It is good to be back among family and friends in DC. With two months until I report to work, I rediscover the things I enjoy about my hometown. Griffin seems thankful to climb back up on his couch and he returns to the dogpark a wiser, worldlier dog. I frequently look out the rear window of my apartment and see The Chief, blanketed with snow but ready to move. Uncertain how solid my job will be when I return, I consider where Griffin and I might drive next. | |||||||||||||||||
