The Costa Blanca (or the white coast) is centred on Alicante, and this coastal stretch contains some of the best beaches in Spain. The area is served by 2 aiports, one at Alicante called El Altet and one at San Javier which is Mucia's airport.
The Costa Blanca is a land privileged not only by fine weather but also by its environment. Fine golden sandy beaches along its coast and inland many charming and quaint Mediterranean villages, where green valleys of fertile orchards contrast with mountains.
Torrevieja is at the southern end of the Costa Blanca, and is 30 minutes drive from both the Alicante and Murcia airports.
