BFHG Transcription Project
		The Group has been very industrious in its transcription of local records of all types and there are now indexes or full transcriptions of many parish and non-conformist registers, school admission registers, hospital burial registers and  monumental inscriptions. Some publication ar available to purchase either in book form or on floppy disc. Publications For Sale In 2000, the Burntwood Family History Group was granted a Millennium Lottery Award, with which to continue transcription work to benefit the local community. The money has been used to purchase  microfiche readers and microfiches for the use of transcribers and for general use within the Group. Microfiche available to members Ongoing projects include A Members’ Wills Index and Transcription of Local Private Documents
