| We are an association of like minded people of all ages and professions - - - - - - - - - - The group was formed in 1986 by local residents with a common interest in researching their Family History - - - - - - - - - - We are a member of the Federation of Family History Societies - - - - - - - - - Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Family History at a very modest subscription rate and we also have postal members. Application for Membership - - - - - - - - - - People researching their ancestors in this area of South Staffordshire are welcome to contact us for help and advice. We are only too glad to give the benefit of our local knowledge and even offer a limited amount of voluntary research in some cases |
| Members of the Group, regularly give talks on Family History to other organisations in the local area. If you are interested in a Member of the Group giving you a talk, contact the Chairman: Jane Leake - - - - - - - - - - The Group now has two laptop computers which are available on a Thursday night for use with the many Family History CD's we have in our library. We will be obtaining more CD's later this year to add to our ever growing library |
