Electron Bowl Score
(1) Meek Boys 128
(6) McKamikaze Highlanders 121
Wow.
Clinton Portis was the real star of the game, racking up
41 for the Meeks and leading all scorers. If Tampa hadn't
shut out the Bears, that could've provided the points for
victory, but they scored 32, including 10 for the shutout.
The Highlanders were led by Michael Vick with 32 points.
Tiki Barber threw in a surprising 30, but it could've been
more if he hadn't fumbled all those times. And the
Philadelphia defense put up 22 more.

Playoff Week #2 Scores
(1) Meek Boys 140
(5) Missouri Manglers 115 (OT)
Wow. I thought the Manglers had this one 115-114, but then
I checked more carefully, and Peyton Manning had a little
one-point conversion that I didn't spot the first time,
sending it to OT. And since Koy Detmer didn't start, the
Meeks escape with a victory to make it to Electron Bowl XIII.
The Meeks were led by Peyton Manning with 58 points. They
got a pair of 25-pointers from Marvin Harrison (naturally)
and the Oakland defense in overtime in support of the late
win. The Manglers were led by Jeff Garcia with 32 points.
Carolina's defense chipped in another 28.
(6) McKamikaze Highlanders 142
(2) Mark's Mules 115
The Highlanders-Mules trade late in the regular season came
back to haunt the favored Mules in game 2 of the BFL
semi-finals. Michael Vick, the former Mule and now
Highlander, had 48 points to lead his new team to victory.
Philadelphia's defense had 34 points to help out. Chris
Chambers caught a nice long ball for 22 more points, and Tiki
Barber chipped in a couple of scores for 20 more. The Mules
were led by Rich Gannon with 32 points. Shaun Alexander had
23 more, and the Atlanta defense had 21.

Playoff Week #1 Scores
(1) Meek Boys 174
(8) Bemay Gizzards 131
When I first ran the scores for this game, I thought for
sure that the Gizzards would come out on top, thanks to
Daunte Culpepper's performance on Sunday. He threw for
2 TD's and ran for 2 more, very reminiscent of Michael
Vick a couple of weeks ago. He got 63 points. And
naturally, he was throwing to Randy Moss, so he got 32 more.
Then I started totaling up Clinton Portis and didn't stop
until I got to 70. Four TD's. Three on the ground, one in
the air. Two for max points. Woof. And since the Peyton
Manning-Marvin Harrison machine was clicking on all
cylinders, they combined for another 74, thus snuffing the
Gizzards.
(5) Missouri Manglers 121
(4) American Looney 85
In the Smith Bowl, the Manglers with Antowain and Rod beat
the Loons with Emmitt and Jimmy. Jeff Garcia led all
scorers with 29 for the Manglers. Quincy Morgan's nice day
with the Browns got them 25 more. Duce Staley led the way
for the Loons with 26 points. If Bledsoe had had a better
day, maybe things might've gone the Loons' way.
(2) Mark's Mules 128
(7) Butchers 81
The Mules tramped all over the Butchers in the first round.
Shaun Alexander led the charge with 32 points, thanks to 2
TD's and a lot of yardage. They got 29 more from Atlanta's
defense and 26 from Rich Gannon. Brian Griese led all
scorers with 40 points for the Butchers with that nice pass
to Portis, but that was about it.
(6) McKamikaze Highlanders 140
(3) Dawgs 105
The Highlanders took the much-anticipated rubber game between
the Lombardi Division rivals. Sir Michael led the way with
37 points for the visiting Highlanders. They got 24 from the
Eagles' defense and a pair of 22's from Tiki Barber and
Terrell Owens. Travis Henry led the Dawgs with 32 points,
and they got 25 more from Brad Johnson.
