Week 4 Scores

WhoDey 135
The Meeks 137

Jay Fielder threw 4 interceptions, but that doesn't
hurt you in the BFL, as he racked up 43 points for
the WhoDey. Curtis Conway also had a 52 yd TD enroute
to 22 points, and the Raven DS did come up big last
night with 26, as the WhoDey just miss handing The
Meeks their first loss of the season. The Meeks playing
without the Manning/Harrison connection this week, got
31 from Tampa Bay DS, 28 from Quincy Carter, and while
had extremely balanced scoring, didn't get the one big
play needed for the victory. WhoDey moves to 1-3 and
the Meeks are now 4-0.

The Mules 196
Gizzards 85

What can you type? Shaun Alexander scores 5 TDs in the
first half and finishs with 68 BFL points. Rich Gannon
throws 4 TD passes for 62. Fred Taylor had a great day
with 32, all for The Mules. That is a lot of points!
After only scoring 83 last week, it would appear Coach
Terry gave the boys an inspiring pep talk. The Gizzards
were lead by Travis Henry with 19 and Kordell Stewart
with 17, and while all the Gizzards scored points, it
wasn't nearly enough. The Mules move to 3-1, the Gizzards
are at 2-2.

Looney 157
Manglers 75

The Looney make chopped liver out of The Manglers on
the arm of Drew Bledsoe (54 points) and the legs of
LaDainian Tomlinson (50) (this guy is for real). Lamar
Smith, a welcome surprise for Looney chipped in another
20 this week, this guy scores touchdowns. The Manglers
QB problems continue with a dismal 17 points from Mark
Brunnell. Priest Holmes was the one Mangler bright spot
scoring 22. The Looney and Manglers are now both 2-2.

Dawgs 103
Mustangs 94

Jamal Lewis scored 16 last night, but it wasn't enough to
secure the Mustangs first win of the year. The Dawgs got
32 from Donovan McNabb, 19 from Ricky Williams and
consistent scoring from the rest of the team. The high
scorer for the Mustangs was...Morten ANDERSON?? Yes, with
21 points. Newly acquired Tim Couch could only put up 14
for the Mustangs, Plaxico Burress had 16. Steve McNair, on
the bench for the Mustangs, had 54. I know how you feel,
Douglas. The Dawgs move to 3-1 and the Mustangs are 0-4.

Highlanders 120
Outlanders 79

A +40 point win for the Highlanders even with their
quarterback scoring 1 point! The Eagles DS was high scorer
with 29, the Raider twins Jerry Rice and Tim Brown both
scored 22, and Janikowski even 'kicked in' (sorry, bad pun)
18 points. The Outlanders got 43 from Daunte Culpepper, and
16 from Isaac Bruce who finally scored a touchdown this
season, but too many zeroes from too many other players. The
Highlanders pull even at 2-2, and the Outlanders remain
winless at 0-4.

Butchers 150
Pipsqueaks 90

The Butchers' Tony Gonzales goes on a one-man wrecking crew
of the Miami defense, and racks up 42 points on 3 TDs. Brian
Griese scores 44. Mo Williams scores 25. A well balanced
attack this week. The Pipsqueaks get 27 with a lackluster
performance from Favre, 21 from Deuce McAllister (a scoring
machine like Tomlinson) and 18 from Olindo Mare, but fall well
short in this game. The Butchers are now 3-1 and the Pipsqueaks
are at 2-2.
