Norfolk and Western's 611 Class J has no match in the Mountians of Va WVa they were built (May 1950) when most railroads were going to Diesel or had already done so. They had good times but could not compete in an economical way that the Diesel could .They went the way of the scrap pile. This is the only one left and is now in the museum in Roanoke Virginia |
