Ahh...nice blue ocean. Almost there...=)

Okay, its 3:30 and I am home all alone. Anna left for home this afternoon. Luckily I got off work early and I'm able to get all this stuff done now. After I update I have to pack, wash dishes (they left them all for me! How rude!), pay some bills, clean my room, and then hopefully I will be done in time to watch The West Wing and Law & Order. The latter is my favorite show. My dad would always watch it religiously and, with our computer being next to the tv, I would watch it with him. That and Leno. I miss Leno. Why can't it come on at 10:45 like normal?

Rose asked me the other day if I was worried about staying with my parents when I get home. Actually, her first words were "Are you staying with your parents?" Haha. As if I had a choice. Rose always had conflicts with hers so she always ended up leaving Hawaii early just to get away. Then again, she stayed for weeks at a time during break so maybe that's why. Honestly, I haven't given it much thought. It didn't even occur to me that my mom could make my return a stressful one. I mean, she's already demanded that I only bring a carryon. *shrug* Oh well, I'm hoping to be home as little as possible anyway. heehee ^____^

So last night was a bit overwhelming. I thought I was only going to be meeting 2 new people but instead it doubled...and they were all journallers! What are the chances of that?! hehe. So I met Dave at his work. I was shocked to see how crowded it was. I personally need my space, so having that many people working in such close proximity with no walls is a bit scary. hehe. So then we headed off to the airport to pick up Clara. Dave missed the parking exit while talking about Southpark, and then when I thought we had found parking it turned out to be the new int'l lot. The attendant gave us really long winded directions (it began with "take 5 right turns..." o.O) and we probably would've gotten lost again too, but then I just told Dave to cut across (it was clear! I swear!) and right when we were doing that this other car on the shoulder decided to swerve right in front of us! Dave..you didn't almost kill us. Its okay. I know its not your fault. ;P

Clara is tall! =) hehe So we three headed back to the city through traffic to pick up Tammy. At the designated spot we saw Tammy walking with some guy and me and Clara were wondering who it was. Turned out to be Gerard, with razor in hand. What an unexpected surprise! So I got to see him again for the 2nd time, only this time I actually said hi. hehe Tammy looks just like her pictures! =)

Then we headed to Jtown (minus gerard) for some donburi. mmmm. Oishii desu yo! We then got boba on irving, and then we dropped Clara off at her friend Jon's house. He was a lot more effervescent than I thought. Nice house too. So that was 4 new people I met in a short 3.5 hour period! Hrmm, 6 journallers all together. Scary thought kinda. haha.

I had a lot of fun. Its not everyday that I go out with so many people...especially people I've never met before. I was a bit nervous meeting Clara and Tammy though. I dunno why. I realized that of all the online people I've ever met, only one of them was a girl. Or well, I guess you could count this other girl I met at the HOT concert 2 years ago. Gosh, I completely forgot about that. haha. Anyway, it turned out to be fun and I'm glad I asked Dave if I could tag along. Sorry I didn't talk too much guys. hehe =)

Now if only I had a digicam, then I could post pics now instead of waiting till I develop them. Ooh! That reminds me! I have to pack my camera and film! hehe. I better go do that now.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Eat lots of stuffing and enjoy the horrendousness of the day-after shopping! hehe. Hopefully I'll be getting a tan instead...in nice, balmy, 80 degree weather. I can only hope. =)

<3 always,
mah-rheee-yah
