Bed

Because the bed is a bit too narrow, we did what other Bolerites have done: we made it wider by adding a 6-inch piece of wood. For a more interesting bed extension, see Martin and Shelley's trailer pictures and diagrams.

After sleeping right next to the window, I realized that the track that holds up the table was pretty lethal to our bedding.....and my arms! We have found a very inexpensive solution. If you have other solutions please share! (And for those of you who were lucky enough to have a table attachment that isn't so sharp, I'm jealous! ha ha!)

In the first picture, you'll notice that there is a sharp edge on the track that holds the table in its upright position. When the table is lowered into sleeping position, the sharp edge is exposed.

We bought a cheap "wet noodle" pool toy for about $1.50. I took a regular kitchen paring knife and cut away a 1 inch strip so that the noodle slides over the track and window ledge. It stays on nicely and it also makes a nice backrest when you're sitting under the window. Lucky for us with our brightly coloured trailer, the wet noodle actually matches the decor!
