Our pets are intelligent, well-behaved, funny, sweet, beautiful,
loyal, adorable....all of these things (though not all at the same time). But whatever else they are, they are always *ours*,
"HEART & SOUL"!
Our family is owned by eight pets.
The dogs are a Sheltie, "Cody", and a Collie, "TJ".
The cats, "Figaro", "Jasmine", and "Bella" are all Domestic Shorthairs.
"Rose" and Phyllis" are our horses, and last but not least, is "Slick", the lively red Betta.
We all live together harmoniously most of the time,
enjoying each others' company and antics, but it usually just seems a lot like a zoo.

"Caldea's Carolina Code Red!"
Cody is a 7 year old Shetland Sheepdog who has a zest for life that is unmatched by anyone else in the family. He loves running through piles of fallen leaves and splashing in the creek. The tomatoes he picks fresh from the garden, and bananas, are his favorite foods. Chasing a mouse outside with the cats' assistance is his very favorite game. He really tries to be obedient when outside, but there are just so many great things for an inquiring Sheltie to explore!
"Ready or Not Here I Come!" aka Tyler Joshua
"TJ" is the 11 year old Collie we adopted more than 4 years ago.
After taking almost a year to adjust, he finally deciced to become one of the family. He's nearly deaf now and must always walk onlead, but he still gets around like a young whippersnapper when the weather turns cold. Entire loaves of freshly baked bread and fried chicken "a la dinner plate" are his favorite foods. Barking in deafening chorous with his Sheltie nephew, "Dante", and mauling the kids are his favorite games. He'll gladly fetch a tennis ball too, but you'd better not try to take it away from him - TJ doesn't share!
"Figaro" and "Dodger"
are the twin black cats that we adopted from Animal Rescue five years ago. They can usually be found outside sitting on one of the windowsills, and they love to accompany us on long walks. Dodger is the Alpha of the pets and commands respect - and gets it! Cody and TJ turn their backs to him for fear of the ever-anticipated unprovoked slap on the nose.
