MY CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN & GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN

First Child: This is my son Eric. He passed away on February 6, 1993. I miss him so much. May he rest in peace. He has 2 daughters, Kolour and Erin, and 2 grandsons, Tristan and Adam.
November 28, 1959 to February 6, 1993

Second Child: This is my son Clint and his wife Shelly. They have two children, Chet and Meg. Chet is in LSU now. HE is about to finish his freshman year. Meg is in 7th grade at LCO. Clint and Shelly are remodeling their house now. Chet's room is now Clint's den. He has his computer and business papers here. they enlarged their bedroom. It was the craziest shape room I ever saw. Now it is gorgeous, I guess when Meg soes to college, Shelly can make a sewing room in her old room. But we have a lot of years before that happenbs. Time moves sofast now.

Third Child: This is my son Rickey and his wife Sandy. He has 3 children, Justin, Zeke and Haley. They just bought a house in Grey, Louisiana, betweem Houma and Thibodeaux. I haven't seen it yet. They were doing so painting and a few other things they wanted to change before we went to see it. The pictures I got are great. It is a beautiful and big house. I will see it soon.

Fourth Child: This is my daughter Vicki and her new husband Al. They were married on October 14, 2006. Al is a very nice person and everyone in our family loves him. He fits right in with her brothers sense of humor. They are both so happy. The only thing that would make them happier is to have their house completely reapaired and living in it. They are living in a fema trailer. Katrina put 7 feet of water in the house. The house was gutted out last summer (2005) thanks to a crew of volunteers from the Billy Graham church. They were so caring and giving. Vicki and Al appreciated what they did. They still keep in touch with some of the people that helped them.

First Grandchild: This is my grandaughter Kolour. She is 30 years old. She has three children, Tristan, Adam IV and Kameryn. Her boyfriend's name is John.

Second Grandchild: This is my grandaughter Erin. She is 23 years old. Erin is a new bride too. She got married on October 7, 2006. She married Matthew Hindman. They both work in the French Quaters in New Orleans. They seem to be very happy. I wish them all the happiness in the world. They had a beautiful wedding, Mr. & Mrs. Matt Hindman.

Third Grandchild: This is my grandson Justin. He is 21 years old. He Is still trying to go to college, work to survive and pay bills, and playing his music. He is now playing the drums as well as the guitar. This is his girlfriend Sarah. They came over for a weekend and tried to visit relatives. The only ones they got to see were Vicki, Zeke, MawMaw and of course ME, Granny. I enjoyed our visit very much. I hope they come again soon..

Fourth Grandchild: This is my grandson Zeke. He graduated from The Houston School for Funeral Services in December. It was a real nice ceremony. He is presently working at a funeral home in Carencrow, LA. (near Opelousas). His girlfriend Ani Spering came to Louisiana with him. They are looking for an apartment. Meanwhile, they are staying at his Mother's home in Opelousas. He is very happpy with his job. >

Fifth Grandchild: This is my grandson Chet. He is 18 years old. He is a Senior at South Lafourche High School. He presently has no girlfriend. He changes so quickly, I stopped trying to remember their names. HE is a real sweetheart.

Sixth Grandchild: This is my grandaughter Meg. She is 12 years old going on twenty. She just redid her room and has a telephone and TV and Karaoeke machine in it. She is in Seventh grade at Larose Cut Off Middle School (Used to be LCO Jr. High).

Seventh Grandchild: This is my grandaughter Haley. She is 11 years old. She loves to work on her computer. She is in 6th grade. She used to live next door to me but moved away. I miss her very much. She is even moving further away. They will move to Lafayette before school starts. I will never see her again.

First Great-Grandchild: This is Tristan who is 8 yrs. old. He loves to play ball.

Second Great-Grandchild: He is very bright. He likes trains. He is 6 years old.

Third Great-Grandchild: His birthday is December 23, 2004. I don't really know him very well. It gets harder to see them as I get older and more decrepeted.

This is my father. He was a very intelligent man. I loved to talk to him. He lost most of his eyesight by the time he was 60. He loved to read novels. We liked many of the same kinds of books. He passed away on November 10, 1995. I miss him.
This picture was taken right outside of the Super Dome in New Orleans. We; Dad, Mom, Rickey, Vicki and me; went to the Bachus Parade when Henry Winkler was the King. It was the last New Orleans parade we went to. It was a whole day affair. We had so much fun! I Love you Dad!

This is my mother. Her name is Eula Mae Triche Collins. She passed away on August 1, 2005. She was 85 years old. She has 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.I have been taking care of her for 25 years. First it was for Dr. visits for mom and dad, then I took care of all medicines and all hospital visits, when she was sick I took over all household duties, and at the end she was alomost completely dependent on me. It was very hard on both of us. I will miss her so much. I Love you MOM!

This is Mr. Duet, my father-in-law. He was very kind. He passed away on January 18, 2003. He was 80 years old.

This is Mrs. Duet, my mother-in-law. She has always been there when I needed her. I thank both of them for their support through the last 40 years. She passed away on December 31, 2002. She was 80 years old.
