A New Day

"And the truth and the way!
Follow me to a sunny place
Where dawns A Bright New Day!"

Jesus never promised to remove our pain and suffering in this life. Certainly, there are cases in which He does. Some are quite miraculous. You and I have eternal life today because Jesus Christ suffered and died for His Father's sake. It was through the Lord's pain that many were reconciled to God. And we who say we know Him ought to walk even as He walked. That is, we should make our pain available to God for Him to use as He desires. Then we, too, will endure these things for Christ's sake.
