| May 11th, 2004 Two Month Appointment |
| A great appointment for Aidan and Christian (and for mom and dad:) The Dr. said they are growing beautifully and we can now let them sleep and not wake them up every 3 hours to eat. However, the boys still insist on eating just about every 3 hours and don't need us to wake them....their internal alarm clocks take care of that. Even so, we are sure that a full nights sleep is in the not so distant future. Aidan and Christian started their immunizations during this appointment and each recieved 3 shots in their chubby little thighs. Needless to say they were not happy and are still a little sore the next morning. More good news...Christian was taken off his preemie formula and can now have the "big boy" stuff like his brother - which makes life easier for mom and dad. The doctor said that we should now start to really see their personalities showing through - more laughs and smiles and eye contact. He also said we will begin to really see the "twin bond" between the two of them which we are really looking forward too. |

| Another great appointment for Aidan and Christian...this time just one shot in their chubby little thighs. Christian did not even make a peep...he was very cool. Aidan, however, did not like the needle at all and let the nurse know so by screaming...but quickly got over it. The Dr said they are both doing very well and their growth rates are perfect. He said we have two handsome boys (no kidding :) He also said we should start creating a nighttime routine in anticipation of them sleeping through the night. |
| July 13th 2004 Four Month Appointment |

| A very good appointment for Aidan and Christian...Aidan continues to grow by leaps and bounds and hit the 15 lb mark this month. Christian is slowing down a bit but the Dr simply says he is going to be a thin child. He also said he is not surprised because he does have thin parents after all - (wow!! Have we mentioned how much we like this pediatrician - even we felt good after this appointment ;) During this visit, Aidan and Christian had to get their boosters for the first set of immunizations...so 3 shots each in their chubby little thighs. (I'm not sure who to feel worse for, Christian who got the shots first or Aidan who watched his brother and knew he was up next) Needless to say they were not happy...but were fast asleep by the time we dressed them and left the office. The good news is that they are off the hook until their 6 month appt - sometime in September. |
