| Doctor Appointments Part 3 |
| April 5th 2006 2 Year Appointment We had a pretty good appointment today. Both Aidan and Christian are starting to realize what this doctor visit thing is all about and they are NOT happy about it. Neither one of them wanted to be weighed - and were very frightened of the scale (mom doesn't blame them:) Therefore, their weight and height are possibly off by a pound or inch (or two). Once the doctor entered the room, both Aidan and Christian (especially Christian) put up their guards. Despite a few high fives with the doctor - they did not trust him one bit and put up a fight (screaming and kicking) while they were examined (especially Christian). Their Dr. is very happy with their growth and gave them a clean bill of health. They escaped without getting any shots but had to endure a finger prick for a lead test. After all the kicking and screaming one would expect them to be quite upset about this...however, they were excited about getting a boo-boo and even happier about getting Band Aids. Go figure. We are off the hook until their 2.5 year check up - sometime in September. |

| September 26th 2007 2 1/2 year Appointment The boys do not like going to the Dr at all. |
| March 26th 2007 3 year Appointment The boys were much betther at this appointment then they have been during the past few. Though Christian would not take his clothes off, he did allow the Dr to check out his eyes, ears, mouth feet, etc. Aidan was hamming it up as usual and asked the Dr to look at his boo boos. Their Dr broke the ice by blowing bubbles and Aidan and Chrsitian went crazy. They thought he was hilarious. The Dr was amazed once again at how they are growing and impressed with their new found talking abilities :) They did have to give blood samples to check for iron, lead and cholesterol. Everything checked out fine, though Christian's cholesterol is a bit high at 195 (the nurse said they don't worry as long as its under 200) |
