Hmm, the 1 year anniversary from the first TFDShow.  New BrainDead email, it is BrainDeadBand@aol.com.

Merry Hellidays,  Nestor "Sik" Tejada has offically parted ways with BrainDead due to, well, I'm not gonna say, but I'll just put it this way, "personal differences".  Anyway, we wish Sik the best of luck with whatever he finally decides to do next and thanks for the help.  May you also have the stress that we all do one day as well.

Today, we offically have 666 total plays on mp3.com.

Anyway, BrainDead is lookin' for a new member, again.  We will be needing a rhythm guitar player but there are a few rules we are laying down and they are being layed down for a reason and for the band to make progress.  Anyone that wants to know why, just ask.  Here are the rules:

1. Have your fuckin' gear (Guitar(s), Strings, Picks, Cable,
an AMP THAT WILL OVER POWER DRUMS)
2. Have a job, that's right, have a job and steady income,
obviously musicians need money for gear and band matters.
3. Know your shit, meaning don't bullshit saying you know how to play
and really only do Drop-D shit. (Example: Scales are needed)
4. Not interested in effects other than Distortion and a lil' Reverb meaning
DON'T  bring Wahs, flangers, delays ect. to auditions/practices.
5. Have to be at rehearsals on time and actually show up to rehearsals.
6. Do not have a habbit of bitching more than 5 times a practice
we are grown men, so act like a full grown man or woman.
7. Standard E Tuning we are NOT droppin any tuning
lower than D (1 Step down) if anything..
8. Rule #1, Make sure everything works properly.
9. Dedi-fuckin'-cation to the max if you wanna do this, meaning don't waste our
time if you know you can not handle any of the above. and the last one
10. Must be into METAL!

"Our Fighting Brothers" is now available on Mp3.com.  Please note there is a lil' error in the first half of the 1st verse, this error wasn't noticed in the original recording please excuse this error.

Few updates on Corpse555 bio.

10 .18. 2002

BrainDead has a new member, Dennis Lars Torrent (ex-Subdemize).  Lars will be taking over Carlos’ position on Bass. BrainDead has shed it’s Punk/Metal sound and is now full metal.  BrainDead is now incorporating the sounds of Death, Black, Melodic and Thrash Metal. BrainDead is still missing one important member, a Drummer.  We need someone who is serious and dedicated.  We need someone that can play double bass, fast, jazzy grooves and odd timing.   Must have all the gear they need.  If you know anyone that may be interested send ‘em this way.

Hello all, Braindead has a new CD call Comic Relief.  This is just a lil' 5 Song EP, goin' on sale for just $2.  This is not a serious music type of album, it's actually listed on that ''What the hell is that'' Metal catagory.  It was recorded Sunday July 14, 2002 from 3 - 4 PM  All the songs were created and recorded from 3 -4 PM literally.  All the songs were freestyled and came out pretty good for what it is supposed to be especially for under 1 hour.  Here is what you will find on that CD.  Musicians: Edward "Corpse555" Montejo - Guitars/Drum Programing and Carlos "Ex-Braindead Bassist" - Vocals.  Comedy, relaxation, and no life.  Again, this CD was just made out of no where, no where near professionalism, but hey, great f'n' sound and pretty damn good songs for 1 hour of recording.

6 .4. 2002

On Tuesday, June 4, 2002 11:59 PM.  It is very upsetting to inform everyone that my long time partner in crime Carlos ("Big Shot" Mahony/The Punk) has officially departed ways with BrainDead.  Carlos was the only other original member of BrainDead when he joined as the bass player back in the summer of '98.  The reason for leaving was that he doesn't want to play with BrainDead anymore to carry on with his side project band, Against Oll Odds. So unfortunatly, BrainDead is now down to one man, Corpse555 on Gutiar/Vocals.  I wish Carlos luck with his new band and may he have the same stress I've had so he knows how it feels. Ha Ha Ha.  Anyway.  BrainDead will continue with Dennis Torrent of Subdemize on Bass but only as a sessionist.  Drummers, still no luck with one of those but the search continues. BrainDead will play The Fuckin' Damn Show 2002 no matter what. Expect new music to sound different due to the fact that Carlos' influences are gone.  It's hard to mix comedy in songs by myself when he is a bigger clown than I am. Please help promote The Fuckin' Damn Show site's (located in the
links section of this site) by givin' the link to people who you think will be interested, and please join the group.  Use it to meet people if you wish as well as to try to get to know some bands.

6 .3. 2002

As some of you know, Corpse555 was in charge of ''The Fuckin' Damn Show 2001", and those who went, loved it.  This year "The Fuckin' Damn Show 2002" will be held again in December.  A special site dedicated to "The Fuckin'....." has been made.  Thanks Psykho Alejandro of Omen Faculty, also a yahoo groups/message board type thing has been made in order for people to get to know eachother, suggest stuff/bands to play and to get to know more rockers in the Bronx or local scene.  Anyway the link to the official Fuckin' Damn Show Page is
www.oocities.org/tfdshow.  So Mark that down.  It will have info to where the place will be and the bands to perform.  I know this is early, but this is also another way to get to know info on the bands schedualed.  The Yahoo Groups is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tfdshow.  Join the groups and take part in discussing ideas, takin' polls and ect.  And Please give those sites to anyone else that would be intersted to join or know about other bands this way we get to know most of the rockers in the local area.

"1 A.M. Burger". See notes on that for reason behind the title of the song and so on. Possible gig on May or June playin' with Omen Faculty, Solid State, possibly Subdemize, and some others we regretfully forgot but info will be givin' later if we are doin' this gig or not. Bios updated.

2 .21. 2002
