Well, Mp3.com is currently down and it'll be back up at some point in our lives soon and "better than before". Since that is out of our hand we can't really do anything about it but just sit here and wait. 2 BrainDead possible shows next month and both shows we play with our bronx brother band RiZeN. On Friday, July 15 at around 11:15PM - 11:35PM, Corpse555, Sik, Frank(Rizen Drummer), Eric Fuimara (Comic Relief Cover) and friend James Mariani were almost runned down by an man in his mid to late 40s on Williamsbridge Rd in the Bronx on an obvious attempt of homocide. At around 11:15 the group was hanging out in front of Carvel on Williamsbridge Rd and the man was inside of the Great Wall restaurant. The group was just discussion what they were going to do for the rest of the night but the man inside had been strangely watching them for a while now. At around 11:20 the man left the restaurant and headed down towards the Morris Park area. At about 11:30 the group decided to walk towards a McDonalds located down the Morris Park area. At about 11:35 the group had reached a certain street and a car suddenly came out onto the sidewalk and backed up quickly to the group walking, swirving the car left and right. The group of 5 were the only targets on sight. As soon as they jumped out of the way from the moving vehicle, they all got a clear shot of the man's face and it was the same man from the restaurant. Sik happened to jump out of the way and landed next to the driver seat window and the man gave him an annoyed look. As soon as he stopped, he screeched back onto the streets almost hitting another pedestrian crossing the street and turned the corner down the block. The man was driving a modern looking black SUV. He looks like he was aound his mid to late 40s, grey hair, light complextion possibly hispanic or caucasion. Any information please contact the band at BrainDeadBand@aol.com. Lucky enough the group was ok and no one was hurt. But that guy can sure as hell watch out because if he is spotted without his kiling machine you can be sure there will be a bloodbath.

We here in BrainDead want to give our biggest thanks to those who came out and supported us last night at Don Hill's as we opened for Nuclear Assault. It was a fun night, we met new friends/fans, some from all the way in Boston some from here in NYC. Salutes to Dirty Brown Eye. Special thanks to members of Bloodcore and Necromancy for showing support. Pics of the show are comin' up.

Show at Red Zone cancelled. Attila broke his collar bone in a bike accident on Tuesday morning April 15, 2003. Get better soon Attila. BrainDead wil be out of action for 6 - 8 weeks 'till Attila recovers.

Sam Sino has officially parted ways with BrainDead for personal reasons. We wish him the best of luck with his band Bloodcore and give him the maximum amount of thanks for helping us out.
Anyway, BrainDead is lookin' for a new member, again. We will be needing a rhythm guitar player but there are a few rules we are laying down and they are being layed down for a reason and for the band to make progress. Anyone that wants to know why, just ask. Here are the rules:
1. Have your fuckin' gear (Guitar(s), Strings, Picks, Cable,
an AMP THAT WILL OVER POWER DRUMS)
2. Have a job, that's right, have a job and steady income,
obviously musicians need money for gear and band matters.
3. Know your shit, meaning don't bullshit saying you know how to play
and really only do Drop-D shit. (Example: Scales are needed)
4. Not interested in effects other than Distortion and a lil' Reverb meaning
DON'T bring Wahs, flangers, delays ect. to auditions/practices.
5. Have to be at rehearsals on time and actually show up to rehearsals.
6. Do not have a habbit of bitching more than 5 times a practice
we are grown men, so act like a full grown man or woman.
7. Standard E Tuning we are NOT droppin any tuning
lower than D (1 Step down) if anything..
8. Rule #1, Make sure everything works properly.
9. Dedi-fuckin'-cation to the max if you wanna do this, meaning don't waste our
time if you know you can not handle any of the above. and the last one
10. Must be into METAL!
