NEW JavaScript Test

Take the above JavaScript test if you don't have alot of time to waste and are afraid this test won't work for you. Although, I personally have had a hard time making it crash, other people seem to have some trouble with it. So the above link will take you to the test to see if it is worth your time to take this test. On the JavaScript Test all you have to do is fill in your personal info, then click on the Submit button, and you'll know whether or not you can take the DDPA or EPA and successfully get your results.

If you use AOL, you should take the above JavaScript test, since many AOL users have difficulty getting the test to work for them. Eventhough AOL comes with Internet Explorer (IE) version 3.0 or hight, AOL's version of IE doesn't support JavaScript. I suggest going to Microsoft's Internet Explorer Page and downloading the newest the version and using that. Or even better, go to Netscape's Browser Page and downloading the newest version of Navigator or Communicator.

This test requires a Java Script enabled browser. On some configurations you may get an email information warning, please accept (Ok) the warning message, the only information sent is your answers, birthdate, and numbers for you name.

This test is not yet standardized. Thus, the scores you get are the raw scores for the scales. As soon as I get enough participants, I will update the results page to reflect the corrected percentile scores for each of the scales. However, it already appears that scales will be roughly similar to the raw scores with only minor (relative) adjustments.

Instructions

Fill the required personal information. If you choose to enter your name it will be sent to me as is. I've decided to do it this way for this test, due some factors that cannot be analyzed without having the full name. Well I guess they could be, but then I'd have to make this file alot bigger and alot slower to process. So instead of doing that, I have chosen, to let the name be optional, and if entered is not encoded as is done with the EPA test. Also, this test does not set any cookies, so the results cannot be retrieved.

However, you can print out the results, which contain links and the printed address of the links so that you can later just enter the link to review your results.

The test consists of 110 pairs of words (or phrases) with one of four selections:
         1: word1 is MOST like me, compared to word2
         2: word1 is somewhat MORE like me, than is word2
         3: word1 is somewhat LESS like me, than is word2
         4: word1 is LEAST like me, compared to word2
Select the response that is closest to you. For example a beaver would answer the word pair; Big Toothed -vs- Flat Footed as 1 (Big Toothed is MOST like me, compared to Flat Footed), while a platypus would answer 4 (Big Toothed is LEAST like me, compared to Flat Footed).

Once you have answered all the questions, click on the Submit Test button at the bottom to email the results to me, and view your results.
