BSA Troop 720
Fertilizer Information

      Every year, Troop 720 goes door-to-door selling fertilizer and compost as our anual fundraising project.  We do this every Saturday, all of January and the first half(ish) of February.  We sell in all of Richardson and parts of Garland and Dallas.  The adults drive around three-five boys at a time from 8:00-noon and 1:00-5:00.  The boys go door-to-door selling the fertilizer.  If someone is not home, they simply leave a flyer telling them all about the fertilizer.
      At the end, we must deliver.  All the adults in the troop get the biggest vehicle they can get their hands on and drive around one or two boys to deliver the fertilizer to the people who ordered it.  If they are not home, we leave it on their doorstep, or somewhere where they will see it, and put a receipt in an envelope so that they can mail us the money.  Don't worry, we call to make sure people pay.
